WSG - Other than Zerg Strategies Empty

I've been in 30+ WSG matches that were ZeroResil run. The following is the Universal strategy:

"Who's flag runner?" - Premade Leader
"Me" - [random drood]
"Okay, [random drood] runs the flag, everyone else midfield"

This works obviously because a premade allows us to run as a whole and, overall, we eclipse the other faction in the gear department. I really doubt this is going to be very effective against other premades. Also, some variation might make things less dull. WSG bores me as it is...

This is the best effort I've seen online regarding WSG. I'll be posting my own strategies soon (I hope). Anyone have some new and creative approaches to WSG aside from the FULLZERG crap.

Thanks,

Heden

In the several horde premades I have faced while in a zero res. premade, we have still won. I don't doubt there are other ways to run a wsg premade, sometimes we'll all rush the flag as a group, and then zerg the horde FC on the way back to our FR. It just depends on who's running the premade, and what the group make up is.

IMO the way they are run most of the time, with a mid-field defense and 2-3 people (usually a druid) on the flag, is the most expedient way to get in, and get out. WSG has the awful reputation of dragging on for long periods of time, I have seen 3/4 of an original 10 man raid leave and get replaced due to a stalemate.

When we are running the premades, we want the fastest, easiest way to get in and get out of a BG. Honor/marks per/hour is where it's at. While it may not be the most exciting, it gets these goals done and builds Silverwing reputation at the same time.

You are more then welcome to open a premade WSG at anytime and run it any way you want, if you have fresh ideas that can still accomplish our goals and interject some excitement into things, then I am all for it.

I will check out your link!
